According to Ishmael:
According to Ishmael people should live like animals. We should only take what we need. The world shouldn't belong to us, but we should belong to the world. Live as passive animals and not dominate and think we know better. Ishmael wants all the takers to turn back into leavers and put themselves in the hands of the gods. So basicly we need to undo everthing we've done to the earth since we became takers.
According to Me:
According to me, I think we sort of have to do the same thing to a lesser extent. So we do need to stop doing stuff like pollution of the air and oceans for our own gain. On the contrary, I think we still should be more advanced than other animals with houses and stuff. But we shouldn't do things that directly harm the planet, like deforestation and land fills. We can still live as takers but not do anything that will hurt the earth.

you highlight the quintessential dilemma facing humans in their effort to save the world. We want to make changes... but want to sacrifice little or none of the luxuries we have come to know as a result of our advancements... or see making changes as making sacrifices. Hmmmm. Curiouser and curiouser.
